The accommodation was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with loads of power sockets and effective heating. The hosts were very pleasant and welcoming, ensuring we understood where things were and how they worked. The location offered a beautiful view over the river Nith, perfect for an evening stroll. The town centre was conveniently located behind the property, making it easy to explore Dumfries and Galloway.
There were a few downsides to our stay. The road noise at the front of the property and the early morning noise from seagulls at the back disrupted our sleep.

We had a fantastic time exploring the Dumfries and Galloway area from this riverside apartment. The location was perfect, with the town centre right behind the property and beautiful villages, castles, beaches, and mountains just a short drive away. The spacious flat was well-equipped, had a comfortable sofa and dining table, and our host Barry was incredibly attentive despite the ongoing construction. Parking was free, the shower was hot, and the kitchen had everything we needed. a great value for the price.
Totally recommend this hotel.

The code to enter the flat was incorrect, and we had trouble reaching the owner for assistance. Upon entering, we were greeted with the smell of cigarettes and the windows were open, making the flat feel cold. The beds were uncomfortable and the view from the window was a building site. the windows were moldy, quite unpleasant. We were only able to stay one night out of the two nights we paid for. it was not a pleasant experience.

The Mid Flat in Dumfries was so nice in terms of location and comfort. The spacious rooms and lovely view over the river made our stay good. Despite some minor inconveniences like the lack of a cafetière and a new tap for the kitchen sink, the overall experience was great. The free parking areas opposite the house were convenient as well.
